The Sacred Heart Council was founded in 1941 through the efforts of a group of Catholic men from our local parish for the purpose of serving the community and the church.
The Sacred Heart Council works closely with the Sacred Heart Parish in Rochelle Park and the St. Phillips Parish in Saddle Brook, providing funds for various projects which affect the parish, the community and our member’s social lives.
The council has over 200 members and is an active part of each parish.
Some of our events include:
- Father’s Day Breakfast
- March in Memorial Day Parade
- Collection of donations for Developmentally Disabled Citizens
- Annual Scholarships for students attending a Catholic high school as a Freshman
- Support of local Fire and Police Departments
- Annual Blood Drives
- Annual 20 Week Club Event
- Annual Golf Outing
- Beefsteak Dinners
